It’s a defibrillator – and it saves lives!

When a patient’s heart stops, our health care team springs into action. Minutes make a difference because, when it comes to the heart, time is muscle. The faster we can defibrillate, the less injury there will be to the heart, and more oxygen to the brain.

We rely on our defibrillators to deliver a dose of electric current to the heart. Our existing defibrillators are at the end of their life spans. This year, we need to replace four defibrillators at the cost of $15,960 each.

This Heart Month, we are asking for your support to help bring new defibrillators to our hospital.
