PFAFF Automotive Partners
PFAFF Automotive Partners' joined North York General Foundation to kick-start a three-year race to raise $853,000 to replace all of the hospital beds at North York General Hospital, and led support of our campaign with both a $150,000 donation and unique marketing efforts.
With deep understanding that to our patients, a hospital bed isn't just a bed, PFAFF's partnership has inspired the first wave of our three year campaign, titled: "It's not just a bed. It's a race car!"
This is not your typical bed campaign - we are taking our campaign slogan literally. PFAFF's Autoworks division customized one of our hospital beds with upgrades featuring race car design cues. To see how PFAFF transformed a hospital bed into a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car, click here.

Knix Wear has recently partnered with North York General Foundation is cause-related effort to raise funds to bring a new breast biopsy table to North York General's BMO Breast Diagnostic Clinic. The active intimates company, which develops garments that focus on empowerment and positivity, created five limited edition North York General versions of their popular Evolution Bra, named after breast cancer patients who have been treated right here at North York General.
Each bra features a specific word chosen by each woman, which describes their personal cancer journey:

- The Judith Bra - Heart
- The Anita Bra - Victory
- The Munira Bra - Resilience
Developed with comfort in mind for women who have had breast-related surgeries, the Evolution Bra is the perfect fit for this campaign. Fifty percent of the proceeds from each limited edition bra will support North York General.
But that's only the beginning of Knix Wear's partnership with North York General. Throughout 2017, every woman who undergoes a breast cancer related surgery at North York General will receive a gift card to use toward Knix Wear garments.
